The Conservation Commission met March 18 and 19 at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, Kansas City.
Commissioners present were:

THE COMMISSION APPROVED:
- Conveying .69 acre of Wilson Camp Access in Miller County to Miller County for a bridge replacement over Tavern Creek and road improvement and an additional 0.3 acre to be used as a temporary construction easement for the duration of the construction period.
- Selling of 19.73 acres of Coldwater Conservation Area in Wayne County to the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for improvements to U.S. Highway 67.
- Purchasing 20 acres as an addition to Manito Lake Conservation Area in Moniteau County.
- Naming the 232-acre McClure tract in Mercer County McClure Conservation Area.
- Allowing nonresident military veterans who have service-related disabilities of 60 percent or more or who were prisoners of war during military service the same hunting and fishing permit exemptions as resident disabled veterans and allowing such nonresident veterans to purchase resident permits.
- Suspending hunting and/or fishing privileges of 35 Missouri residents and one nonresident for Wildlife Code violations and affirmed actions taken by Missouri courts suspending privileges of three Missouri residents. Those whose privileges were suspended are:
