Fishing Report
The Statewide Weekly Fishing Report gives general fishing conditions at selected lakes, rivers, and trout parks across Missouri. The fishing report is published from the first Thursday in April through September.

Maybe you've never fished before, and you're not sure if it's right for you. Anglers can wet their lines in state waters without having to buy fishing permits, daily trout tags or trout permits at most locations. Free Fishing Days events occur on June 7-8, 2008.
Smallmouth Bass Fishing
Smallmouth bass fishing offers lightning-bolt strikes, bulldog runs and athletic jumps for anglers. Bass season opens on May 27 on all Ozark streams.
